Aiya, I know my photos cacat, but I am no plofesonal photoglafer ma...
Mom says that the first pic looks like someone/something is strangling her. Thus the face.
Let me tell you a story, about 5 ladies who went all the way to Brunei on a fine morning, May 1st, to be exact. Of course, all short-brunei trips consist of having sushi, and then going for grocery shopping at SupaSave.
We arrived at KB, only to find out that the sushi house (as mom calls it) was jam packed with people. Our second option was to go all the way down to Gadong to satsify our grumbling tummies that were so desperate for sushi.
People came, and had to wait/leave/reserve/dont know what they did. As logic as it sounds, we would have to do the same, but mom walked in, and the cashier girl saw mom, and she was like "maam, I'll give you these 5 seats, but we have reservation at 1.30". So mom was like "yeah ok ok thanks!" while other people stared in despair wandering why we could get a table, even though we arrived later than them.
Met Goeffry (?) there as well. We had to eat quickly because as mentioned, ada orang book sudah. So we ate ate ate, while people watched us eat eat eat. And we were done then we left for Supa Save.
Then Flora's mom was looking at the rice, which was on discount. And legend has it that Brunei rice smells very nice wtf. I also dont know cos I've never eaten brunei rice.
Becuse their family is so big, and they consume rice evryday so their rice finishes fast so they took 3 gunis. Also cos each person was only limited to 3 guni's, as well as a guni of beras pulut for grandma to make dumplings (zhong zhi).
So we were happily shopping, and mom even bought a whole carton of Perrier (oh the love (for perrier lah. What? Of course I love my mom!)) for me! Happy Happy. And Ben And Jerry's!!
Back to Miri, talking in the car, and we arrive at the custom. And YOU KNOW WHAT? THEY WERE CHECKING CARS! Never in the history of our short-trips-to-brunei have they ever checked the cars!!
AND YOU KNOW WHAT? CANNOT BUY BERAS DAN GULA!!!
So we went back to return the beras, and came down again.
AND YOU KNOW WHAT?? THEY WEREN'T EVEN CHECKING ANYMORE!!!
haii... the malangness....
Anyway, that ends my story of the malangness of us when we went to brunei to eat sushi and go grocery shopping and then buy beras.
The end.
